Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing and a keen eye for identifying issues and ensuring user satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JMeter)
  • Familiarity with testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
  • Ability to write clear and concise defect reports and test cases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) are a plus.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical documentation to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Write and execute automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Maintain and enhance automated test suites.
  • Conduct basic performance, load, and stress testing
  • Provide insights into application performance and bottlenecks
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and function as expected across all target platforms
  • Participate in sprint planning and contribute to defining acceptance criteria
